Clarify the details first, then deliver concrete actions

Even if you begin with a vague complaint, the advisor asks targeted questions to lay out the full picture. Once the core problem is clear, it suggests viable options based on your resources—leaving the first step up to you.

My weekly report pulls numbers from five systems. Is there an easier way?
There are a few ways to do it. Let me understand the setup first. Do you export the numbers from these five systems, or copy them from the screen?
Three export to Excel. The other two I copy from the screen. It takes me half of every Monday.
Got it. Who reads this report?
My department head. They mainly look at weekly progress and the number of exceptions.
Let me sum up: every Monday you spend half a day turning numbers from five systems into two sets of figures for your manager. Here are three options:
  1. Merge the three exports into one sheet automatically Grounds: the data already exports, so this changes the least and you can try it this week.
  2. Build a one-page report that refreshes itself, for example in Power BI Grounds: your manager checks the same two sets of figures every week, which suits a standing report. Confirm data access for all five systems first.
  3. Ask your manager to move the two hand-copied figures to a monthly report Grounds: those two take the most time, so reporting them less often saves the most hours.
Which one would you like to start with?
Let’s try the first one. I’ll ask my manager about the hand-copied figures at our weekly meeting.
This is a sample. A real conversation follows up on your own situation.

How Digital Advisors Work for You

Every advisor is built on these three points.

Grounded in Your Actual Work Context

Advisors apply specialized operational logic to your scenario. When reviewing regulated tasks or labor standards and citing specific articles, they flag items requiring direct verification.

Probing Questions That Surface the Core Problem

Confusion often stems from surface noise. Advisors isolate variables one question at a time, turning fragmented facts into an organized, actionable checklist.

Discussions Feed Your Development Profile

With your consent, advisors extract problem-solving patterns into your personal development profile. You can confirm, reject, or hide records at any time. These clues are used for your personal development only and are kept fully separate from personnel decisions such as promotion, hiring, or dismissal.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Coach?

Coach is a team of AI digital advisors. Each advisor is set up with the judgment criteria and questioning style of one professional domain: you describe a work situation, and the matching advisor helps you clarify the problem and lay out next steps.

What can Coach help me with?

Coach advisors are grouped into four areas: Process & Efficiency, Learning & Growth, Operations & Decisions, and Career & Applications. You can ask an advisor to help you sort out a labor-relations dispute, plan training, rehearse an interview, check your resume, or learn to write prompts. When an issue touches several areas, or you are unsure which advisor to ask, start at the Coach Advisory Center and it will point you to the right one.

How is Coach different from using ChatGPT directly?

Every advisor comes with the judgment criteria and questioning rhythm of its domain already set up. You describe your situation; it first asks for what is missing, then lays out options and the reasons behind them, so your time goes into the problem itself. When a detail needs checking (such as a statute number), it reminds you to confirm it.

How are my conversations with an advisor used?

Your conversations are used only for your own work and development. Development insights drawn from them stay in your personal development profile, which you manage yourself.

Drawing insights from your conversations is a feature you turn on yourself in your account. Every resulting observation is visible to you, and you can confirm, dispute, or hide any of them.

How Do You Distill Expertise into an AI Advisor?

What each advisor asks first, where it stays within bounds, and where it flags risk were tuned role by role by Jed. After more than ten years on the HR front line, he found that general-purpose AI answered quickly but lacked the context of real work and a sense of what to ask first, so he started building his own: turning the way professionals make judgment calls into advisors that can be reused and adjusted.
